§ A — About

About.

Responsibility Infrastructure is an emerging institutional category established to make operational responsibility provable, verifiable, and reconstructable.

The category was opened for public consideration in 2026. This site publishes the foundational documents, proposed standards, and governance instruments that constitute the category in draft form.

The remit of Responsibility Infrastructure is narrow and operational. It does not duplicate the work of existing standards bodies. It describes the layer at which identification, assignment, acceptance, action, evidence, verification, and receipt are recorded and inspected.

Independence

Responsibility Infrastructure is institutionally distinct from any implementing organisation. The category is intended to be operated by multiple parties under shared governance.
