Build RI capability inside the organisation.
A Responsibility Infrastructure Practitioner is an individual who satisfies the applicable learning, competence, assessment and licensing requirements to apply and interpret Responsibility Infrastructure within a defined scope.
LRIP means Licensed Responsibility Infrastructure Practitioner.
LRIP is intended to describe an individual capability and licence. It is not a software certification, employer certification, regulatory approval or statement that a third-party product conforms to RI.
Software-independent practice
A practitioner may apply RI across existing clinical, care, workflow, case-management, enterprise, incident, AI or supplier systems. The system does not need to become a La Touche product in order for a practitioner to work with RI concepts and requirements.
Practitioner status and implementation conformance are separate claims. A licensed practitioner cannot make non-conforming software conformant merely by using it, and a conforming implementation does not automatically make every user a licensed practitioner.
Capability areas
- Identify Operational Responsibility Gaps
- Distinguish assignment, acknowledgement and acceptance
- Interpret authority, evidence and outcome
- Reconstruct responsibility across organisational and system boundaries
- Support RI-aligned implementation without inventing missing facts
- Preserve the distinction between verification, Recognition, Standing, Registry and Reliance
Responsibility Infrastructure Academy® → competence → licence → current status
Responsibility Infrastructure Academy® provides the RI-specific learning architecture. Academy course status and LRIP licence status remain separate. The licensing regime will require its own published competence, assessment, scope, issue and renewal conditions.

The LRIP licensing pathway is in development. This page does not represent that practitioner licences, a practitioner register, independent verification, Recognition or Registry standing are currently operational.
Commercial RI implementation, diagnostics and interoperability services are available through La Touche.
